- Carefully consider the pros and cons when evaluating decisions that we will make, to see if they are in line with God's Will.
- We must learn to be guided by the Holy Spirit in tough situations.
- God wants us to grow in spiritual maturity so that the decisions that we make will be based on biblical principles or hearing God's voice directly into our hearts and minds.
- God can also confirm His Will by providing us with adequate finances. However, that is only if we initiate actions for God to build upon and release His finances for us. (setting up a fundraiser etc.)
- "If you do the possible, God will do the impossible."
- God will provide if we just step out in faith, but not stepping out presumptuously. Seek confirmation with God first.
- God can also speak to us through His Word, and impress upon us specific passages.
- God will also give peace to our hearts when we are doing His Will.
- God can also use dreams and visions to confirm His Will for us. However we should seek other confirmation of the guidance of God as if we do not take these precautions, Satan can easily confuse us.
- Obey the truth you know as a basis for knowing God's Will for the future.
- There are times when we are unclear what to do next in life. Sometimes God will test us to see if we trust Him and will walk in faith. Always obey the last thing God called you to do until He shows you the next.
- When going through a rough time, do not doubt what God has directed you to do previously.
- Do not use the wrong means for the right end. Cheating in exams to get a degree to serve God is not God's Will.
- Seek God's timing as well as the right thing to do in situations.
- When God gives us a promise, He sets about preparing us to receive it, which may be a long process. However, we should hold on to it, cooperate in any needed preparation and allow the Lord to bring fulfillment of the promise.
- Another aspect of timing and the will of God is waiting for God's opportunity. He wants us to have the spiritual alertness that puts us in the right place at the right time when the Spirit is wanting to do something.
- God may put a plan or desire in our hearts, but we should not presume that means we do it immediately.
- No leaders, regardless of how well-known and trusted they are, can make our decisions for us. We are responsible before God for our own guidance.
- Guidance is purely and simply God communicating to us about very specific matters. Nothing, not even our desire to serve God, is to undermine a pure and simple devotion to Jesus.

- The security of our future is in God, not in a plan or setup.
- God has a plan for our lives, and once we are moving He can lead us into it.
- "For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." - Jeremiah 29:11
